Youth Art Innovation Fellowship- Registration
Calling all youth ages 13-18 - Participate in multidisciplinary art-based workshops led by local creatives and expert artists.
This two-week opportunity will give selected youth the opportunity to work with two local artists. Explore your voice through the art mediums of your choosing. Each week there are different options to choose from:
Week one: painting, ceramics, print-making, creative writing
Week two: drawing, zine-making & graphics, and videography
Choose to attend one week or two weeks!
Each student accepted into the program will receive a fellowship award of $125/each as well as opportunities to display artwork created in the program at local venues and galleries. All participants will receive certificates and publicity via the Arts Connection Network and regional news publication.

Number of students (max): 40
Stipends: $125/ student (this is not a fee, it's an offering for each student who attends to help with transportation).
Other Benefits: exhibition of work at local art spaces in the fall, continued mentorship from local artists to complete projects and learn how to extend interest in the creative field to find work, gigs, and future opportunities. Enjoy an open studio style working space with a community of local artists and youth at the Garcia Center for the Arts. Finish a full project you envision with the support of expert artists from the community!
